Macmillan cancer information and support
The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Manager is an experienced professional, who offers information, practical and emotional support, advice and a listening ear to anyone affected by cancer, whether a patient, family member, carer, friend or other professional.
We provide a library of leaflets, books and tapes to ensure you have the background knowledge you need to support you through your experiences.

We offer a no-appointment-needed drop-in service, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 4.30pm at The Macmillan Information Centre, situated in the main foyer of the Centre.
Alternatively, you can telephone us (an answer machine service is available) on 0151 482 7722 or through the main switchboard of the hospital (Tel: 0151 334 1155 ext 4825).
The Macmillan Information Service is not available at weekends or Bank Holidays, but a trained oncology nurse is always available to answer queries.
